Meet the Team
Amber Louise Horne
Amber is a poet and academic based in Worcestershire. After completing her undergraduate degree in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Worcester, she has stayed on for her Masters where she is pursuing all things post-human. Amber is the runner-up of the 2023 UniSlam Coach’s Slam having mentored her team to a successful semi-final placing. She also performed at last year’s roundhouse regional heats. Her poetry has been published in Jaden magazine, the #SoftLads anthology, Dear Reader, and the Sunday Mornings At The River Autumn Anthology of 2022, and is soon to be published in other projects.

Rebecca Hollyoak
Rebecca is currently a post-graduate student at the University of Worcester, studying English. Their special interests are ecocriticism, poetry, and gothic studies in contemporary culture.

Eleanor Alder
Eleanor is an English MA student at the University of Worcester. Her interests include the Blue Humanities, embodiment, queering, and creative writing practice.

Najeebullah Noor
Najeeb is currently doing his Masters in English Literature at the University of Worcester. His particular interest areas are life-writing, autobiography, diaries, and memories.

Sinem Sabuncu
Sinem is a postgraduate student, studying English at the University of Worcester. Her areas of interest are Victorian fiction and psychoanalytic criticism.

Katie Harris
Katie is an English MA student with interests in Ecofeminist Theory, dystopian literature, and representations of hybridity.

Lily Johnson
Lily is an English Masters student at the University of Worcester, and completed her undergraduate degree at Bath Spa University. She is mostly interested in ecocriticism, poetry, and feminism/gender studies.

Neil Laurenson
Neil studied English Literature and Education Studies at Cambridge University and he is currently studying for an English MA at the University of Worcester. He is particularly interested in poetry, twentieth-century music, hauntology, and land inequality.
